Hit some waters in the Warren area last night on the incoming, very
quiet and very wet. Ron and I then got a call from Dan from Nocturnal
Tackle. He said the fish were hitting (at a undisclosed area) in the
Barrington area. So we packed up our wet gear and met him at his honey
hole.
Dan
then demonstrated to us his new white Swimming plug as he pulled out
two nice Stripers after a 12 pound Bluefish on the white plug in a
matter of 30 minutes. I think he now has that plug perfected.
Ron
then managed a nice linesider himself using a green Stripercoast Classic* and then followed up with a fish
that bent his leader snap.
I myself managed a very respectable bluefish on a Pogie chunk. No pics, too much rain.
My thanks goes out to Dan for the guide and I highly recommend his plugs which can be found at

Hey guys and Gals, I am off to Napatree point this Sat. Probably last day of
fishing for me. Pretty soon it's P.A.T. (Protein aquisition time) As I see the
geese flying over my house an onward to the hunting grounds.
I'll fly fish if conditions permit. If not I still have some plugs, including
one fine plug made by a friend which absolutely finds stripers in Coves and salt
ponds......Wouldn't mind trying it in the surf. Dan you wouldn't know about this
plug would ya?
